Detailed Description of the Take-it-EZ
Introduction
The Take-it-EZ is especially designed to take small samples of powders,
granules, pellets, liquids or alike.
The Take-it-EZ is equipped with a cyclone, a downstream sample container, an
upstream safety filter and a vacuum system incorporated in the control box.
Upstream the cyclone, a combination of rigid and flexible tubing has to be
connected to the system (process equipment or alike) from which a sample has to
be taken. A tube pincher is present to pinch the flexible tubing and cut off the
vacuum from the Take-it-EZ to the process equipment.
The control box contains a vacuum container, linked with a vacuum pump.
Two (2) different under-pressures are pre-programmed and will define the
quantity of the sample to be taken. The time of taking the sample can be set on
the control panel by means of a timer, in seconds. This will fine-tune the
quantity of the sample.
The control box has a green lamp, indicating that the unit is ready for
sampling. The red lamp turns on during sampling. Two illuminating buttons can be
pressed to choose for a small or larger sample.
A button initiates the sampling activity.
The unit will be equipped with a shoulder strap to ease carrying around the
Take-it-EZ during sampling.
